Family Pocket is a pocket-money and budget tracking notebook for teenagers, young adults and their families. It is a notebook only: no real money moves between family members, and the app is not linked to any bank account.
The essentials: without a family, everything stays on your phone, with no account. No advertising, no audience-measurement tools, no data sold or shared for commercial purposes. In family mode, only the members of your family see your data, within the limits of what each person has chosen to share.
Family Pocket is published by Atria.Eponym, an individual developer based in France. Contact: atria.eponym@gmail.com
The transactions you record (amount, category, note, date), your categories, your savings goals and your settings (optional first name, currency) are stored only on your phone. No account is created and nothing is sent to the publisher.
The bank statements you import (CSV, OFX, QIF) and the Markdown file from another app are read on your phone; only the lines you confirm are added to your notebook. The files you export (Excel, CSV, PDF, images) are created on your phone and shared only where you decide. Images intended for social networks hide amounts by default.
Family mode is optional. It lets a parent follow their children's pocket money, set up pocket money, and lets the family contribute to goals. When you use it, the following data is stored on the app's synchronization service, hosted by Supabase in the European Union:
Who sees what. Only the members of your family have access to this data, through security rules enforced by the server. A parent sees a teen's transactions dated from the day the teen chose when joining the family (and which they can change). A relative sees the children's goals and can contribute to them.
Minors. A teen can only join a family with a parent's invitation, which constitutes parental consent.
The app contains no advertising or audience-measurement tools.
Donations are optional and unlock no features. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iPhone), under their own privacy rules. We do not receive your name, your e-mail address or your payment details, and no data from your notebook is sent.
The data on your phone stays there until you delete it or uninstall the app. Family mode data is kept as long as the account exists and deleted as soon as the account is deleted.
In the app: Settings → Family → Delete my family account. Your account and everything it stored on the service are deleted immediately; if you were the last parent, the whole family is deleted too. Without the app, see the page Delete an account.
Under the GDPR, you can access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it (export from the app) or object to its processing, by writing to atria.eponym@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Any change to this policy will be published on this page, with its date.
