Privacy policy — Stock Cockpit

Last updated: 24 October 2026 · Français

Stock Cockpit shows stock prices, delayed by at least 15 minutes, for the shares you choose to follow, and the day's trend of the main indices.

In short: no account, no ads, no analytics, no purchase that unlocks a feature, no data sold or shared. Your lists of shares stay on your phone, with, if you choose so, a copy in your own Google or iCloud backup.

Who is responsible

The app is published by Atria.Eponym, an individual developer based in France. Contact: atria.eponym@gmail.com

What stays on your phone

The lists of shares you follow are stored on your phone. The app does not ask for your name, e-mail address or age, and does not use your location.

Backup of your lists

When the setting “Garder mes listes si je supprime l'appli” (keep my lists if I delete the app) is on (it is by default, and the app offers it when you create your second list), a copy of your lists is kept in your phone's backup: the Google backup on Android, your iCloud on iPhone (the copy then also reaches your other iPhones and iPads). Google or Apple keep this copy under your own account; Atria.Eponym has no access to it. Turning the setting off deletes the copy: at once in iCloud, at the next backup for Google.

Sharing a list

When you share a list, the app makes a link that holds the list's name and the codes of the shares (no price, nothing about you). You choose whom to send it to. The list sits after the # sign of the link: your browser never sends that part to a server. The page that opens the link is hosted by GitHub; like any website, it only sees that it was opened.

Prices

Prices are collected every minute by the app's service, hosted by Supabase in Paris (European Union), from the delayed data published free of charge by Euronext and Deutsche Börse (Tradegate quotes). Your phone downloads these prices; when you search, the text you type is sent to the service to find the share, with nothing that identifies you. As with any Internet connection, the host sees the connecting IP address; the app does not link it to anything.

Donations

You may, if you wish, make a donation from the About screen. The payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store, under your account with them: Atria.Eponym receives neither your card, nor your name, nor your e-mail address, and the app sends no information about your donation. A donation unlocks no feature.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data by writing to atria.eponym@gmail.com. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored on your phone; the backup copy, if you kept it, is deleted from Settings (“Effacer mes listes sauvegardées”). You can also contact the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
